Femi, I don't know if you saw my post on the English forum.
I've resumed the creation of my polarization adjustment system, mainly intended for the EGIS, but which can also be used on polar mounts with or without a universal LNB (14/18 pure H/V).
The concept is almost the same as a diseqc motor used by the LNB changer: an electronic card manages the position from motor pulses.

Ich habe die Entwicklung meines Polarisationsanpassungssystems wieder aufgenommen, das hauptsächlich für das EGIS gedacht ist, aber auch auf Polarhalterungen mit oder ohne Universal-LNB (14/18 reines H/V) verwendet werden kann.
Das Konzept ist fast dasselbe wie bei einem DiSEQC-Motor, der vom LNB-Wechsler verwendet wird: Eine elektronische Karte verwaltet die Position anhand von Impulsen vom Motor.

Viking hat zwar ein motorisiertes C/Ku Dual-System, allerdings müsste man hier ordentlich tief in die Tasche greifen.

Die einfachste Lösung mit Standard-LNBs wird wohl eine 40 bzw. 65 mm Aufnahme sein.
Bei professionellen LNBs und dann auch noch mit Rechteck-Hohlleitern wird's nochmals komplizierter.

Nachdem meine Hirschmann Antenne ein Jahr auf der Wiese lag, jetzt schon fast 2 Jahre an der Hauswand statt am Egis hängt (mangels Hilfe),
sind meine Ambitionen gesunken.
So gut ich kann und es möglich ist, möchte ich dich aber unterstützen - einfach melden.
Im englischen Foren sehe ich nur fallweise rein.

Ich habe gerade einen Realversuch mit meinem EGIS gemacht.
Ich habe einen universellen PLL-LNB genommen.
Der angewandte Offset (einstellbar) ist der von satlex.be.
Ich muss noch ein Gehäuse finden, um die Platine und den Motor zu schützen.

Hat es einen bestimmten Grund warum das Universal-LNB ohne Gehäuse ist?

Die Box für die Elektronik liese sich auch an die Abdeckung des Egis-Motors schrauben, nur mal als Vorschlag.

Is there a specific reason why the universal LNB doesn't have a housing?

The electronics box could also be screwed to the cover of the Egis motor, just as a suggestion.

Ich habe die Quelle nicht abgeschaltet, aber ich habe ein Aluteil gemacht, das sich darin verklemmt, um wieder ein 20mm-Rohr zu verwenden.

as the inverto PLL lnb input tube is square, i didn't cut the source, but i made an aluminium part that gets stuck in it to use a 20mm tube inside.
