I traded in my very noisy azimuth motor for one offered by FEMI.
There are no more major noises.
The speed is different, the new engine runs a little slower!
When I reduce the speed when approaching the destination it turns really very slowly and I stop at just the right value!!
This is a good thing, but will this be the case with other EPR103 owners?
I decided to count only the high state of the motor pulses (as on EPS103) and we obtain 100 pulses per degree.
The value displayed corresponds to the angle multiplied by 100 from the EAST origin:
- due south 9000 = 90.00°
- due west 18000 = 180.00°
-full east = 0
The passage from east to west is done in less than a minute.
When detecting the limits, I go at full speed until I detect the contact of the switch then I go back in reverse at very low speed to detect the release of the same switch.
This procedure is very reliable because after many attempts a value is obtained which only varies by 2 pulses.
The seed value can be set manually to best match its location.
The correspondence between the displayed index and the targeted position depends on its longitude and latitude, but this value is obtained on WEB sites.

Ich habe meinen sehr lauten Azimutmotor gegen einen von FEMI angebotenen eingetauscht.
Es gibt keine größeren Geräusche mehr.
Die Geschwindigkeit ist anders, der neue Motor läuft etwas langsamer!
Wenn ich die Geschwindigkeit beim Erreichen des Ziels reduziere, dreht es sich wirklich sehr langsam und ich halte genau bei dem richtigen Wert an!!
Das ist eine gute Sache, aber wird dies auch bei anderen EPR103-Besitzern der Fall sein?
Ich habe mich entschieden, nur den hohen Zustand der Motorimpulse zu zählen (wie bei EPS103), und wir erhalten 100 Impulse pro Grad.
Der angezeigte Wert entspricht dem mit 100 multiplizierten Winkel vom OST-Ursprung:
- genau nach Süden 9000 = 90,00°
- genau nach Westen 18000 = 180,00°
-voller Osten = 0
Die Passage von Ost nach West ist in weniger als einer Minute erledigt.
Wenn ich die Grenzen erkenne, fahre ich mit voller Geschwindigkeit, bis ich den Kontakt des Schalters erkenne, dann fahre ich mit sehr niedriger Geschwindigkeit rückwärts, um das Loslassen desselben Schalters zu erkennen.
Dieses Verfahren ist sehr zuverlässig, da nach vielen Versuchen ein Wert erhalten wird, der sich nur um 2 Impulse ändert.
Der Seed-Wert kann manuell so eingestellt werden, dass er am besten zu seinem Standort passt.
Die Entsprechung zwischen dem angezeigten Index und der anvisierten Position hängt von ihrem Längen- und Breitengrad ab, aber dieser Wert wird auf WEB-Sites erhalten.

Es gibt ja 4 Egis-Typen There are 4 Egis types:
180°Az/45°El
180°Az/90°El
360°Az/45°El
360°Az/90°El
Ich habe nun in den alten Unterlagen nachgesehen und mein ursprünglicher Motor war die dritte Version, also 360/45.
Alles was nach dem Sturmschaden noch heil aussah, hatte ich dann geborgen und archiviert. Ob das der Azimuth- oder Elevationsmotor war, oder am Ende auch gar kein Unterschied der beiden ist/war, kann ich nicht sagen.
Auf anraten von Hr. Olbort, der einzigen Firma, die sich damals in Österreich mit größeren Anlagen beschäftigte, war der Ersatz dann ein 180° Motor, der angeblich weniger empfindlich bei Sturm sein soll.
Eine unterschiedliche Software seitens des EPS103 ist mir nicht bekannt, woraus man schliessen kann, dass die Varianten eine Sache des Getriebes sind.

Schließlich musste ich bei der Laminas den Elevationsmotor einbauen, was zwar im nachhinein gesehen auch Vorteile hat. Beim Egis hatte ich die Probleme die N-Markierung nach Norden auszurichten nicht, halte es aber eher als Zufall.

Egissteuerung mit JPC-Positioner

Ich habe mal in Zusammenarbeit mit Aal41 die Inbetriebnahme Anleitung für den Egis-JPC-Positioner überarbeitet und um wichtige Details vervollständigt.

Der Egis-Motor hat keine wirklichen mechanischen Grenzen, hat dafür aber jeweils einen Schalter nur an einer Endlage, für die Elevation ist es, wenn der Elevationsmotor maximal ausgefahren ist, die Befestigungseinheit steht dann genau senkrecht, für den Azimuth, wenn der Azimuthmotor im Osten steht.

In meinem Programm sucht die erste Zeile im Limits-Menü nach diesem Referenzpunkt in AZ und EL, dabei ist aber es notwendig die Motorkabel so zu verdrahten das der Azimuthmotor mit drücken der blauen Taste der Fernbedienung nach Westen fährt (der Azimuth Encoderwert am Display zählt hoch, Wert wird größer) und das der Elevationsmotor mit drücken der grünen Taste der Fernbedienung sich nach oben bewegt (der Elevations Encoderwert am Display zählt hoch, Wert wird größer)

Nachdem Sie diese Verdrahtung überprüft haben, müssen Sie als nächstes in das Menü „Limits“ gehen.

Dieser Vorgang wurde jedes Mal automatisch ausgeführt wenn der ursprüngliche EGIS-Controller eingeschaltet wurde. Ich habe mich dafür entschieden dies nur auf Anfrage des Benutzers zu tun, aber es ist unbedingt notwendig damit bei der Erstinbetriebnahme des Egis-JPC-Positioner zu beginnen!

Diese beiden Werte sind mit dial8**.exe sichtbar und änderbar, sowie die Höchstgrenzen.
Nachdem Sie die beiden Startpunkte erreicht haben, erstellen Sie eine Sicherungskopie der EEPROM-Datei.
Achten Sie auf die Werte der Zeiger AZ und EL, sie müssen stimmig sein wenn man sich in Grenzen befindet müssen die Zahlen übereinstimmen.

Wozu hätten dann die meisten Halterungen den 10° .... 12° Korrekturwinkel, dessen Sinn es ist auf 0° Elevation zu kommen?
Wie es bei der 90°-Elevation aussieht, weiß ich nicht und probieren kann ich erst recht nichts mehr

Hier noch die korrekte Anschlussbelegung des Egismotors an den JPC-Positioner.

Der Egisrotor mit JPC-Egissteuerung läuft nun an der kleinen Testanlage mit der Selfsatantenne ohne Probleme.
Referenzfahrt Goto AZ/EL und dann auf die Referenzposition zum Südsatellit geht auch hervorragend.
Das Anfahren der Satpositionen und die Wiederholbarkeit ist sehr gut.
Mal schauen wann der EgisPositioner an die große Anlage wechseln wird
