WLBS Paul Hunter Ladies Classic: Ng On Yee wird Champion

White Fights Back to Reach Shanghai
Michael White produced the most dramatic of comebacks in Barnsley, as he pipped Jimmy Robertson to a place at the Shanghai Masters.
Robertson raced to a 4-1 advantage thanks to breaks of 74, 69 and 71. However, White staged an unlikely turnaround. The Welshman took the sixth and seventh frame to keep the game alive at 4-3. Robertson looked set to claim the match when he made a contribution of 54 in the eighth, only for White to snatch the frame on the black with a counter clearance of 59. In keeping with the tension that preceded it, the final frame went down to a re-spotted black. It was White who made it to clinch his place in Shanghai.
